FOR PASSENGERS

When your bag
goes missing.

What custody evidence means when a bag is mishandled: every handover on record, so claims resolve on evidence instead of weeks of email.

Read this first

Sevenoir is not sold to passengers.

We work with airlines, ground handlers, claims teams and insurers. There is nothing on this page to buy, download or sign up for. If custody evidence reaches your claim, it reaches it through the operator handling it, which is why this page explains what changes rather than what to purchase.

If your bag is missing right now, start with your airline’s baggage service rather than with us. The airline holds the file on your bag, and it is the party that can open it, update it and act on it. We are not able to look anything up for you.

What changes

Every handover becomes signed evidence

Today the expensive part of a mishandled bag isn’t losing it. It’s deciding who pays for it, across an airline, a handler and an insurer who each keep records the others don’t trust.

  1. 01

    Every handover is on record

Check-in, sorting, gate-side loading and arrival each become a signed, timestamped custody record rather than a scan sitting in one operator’s system.

  2. 02

    There is a factual answer

When a bag goes missing, the record shows the last verified custody event: which party, where, when.

  3. 03

    Claims resolve on evidence

The claims handler receives one evidence pack, exported in one click: timeline, signatures, gaps flagged. Minutes, not weeks of email archaeology.

This evidence pack documents recorded custody events and their sources. It supports claims handling and does not constitute a legal determination of liability or fault.

Limits

What we don’t do

  • Sevenoir is not a tracker, and it does not show you where your bag is.
  • There is no app, no subscription and nothing for a passenger to buy.
  • No auto-payouts and no parametric-insurance promises. We do not pay claims and we do not decide them.
Optional, and not required

A last-mile verification point

An optional passenger NFC/QR tag adds a last-mile verification point: a premium add-on, not a dependency.

  • The custody record is built from operator scan data alone.
  • Nothing on this page depends on a tag existing.
A Sevenoir luggage tag: a grey leather tag with a carbon-fibre panel carrying a QR code and an NFC mark.

Passenger questions

Work for an
operator?

Airlines, ground handlers, claims teams and insurers are who this is built for. If that is you, the operator page is the one worth reading.
